scrap #5
nothing will be the same
My dear mossy friend,
It occurred to me today that laughing and sobbing are much the same. Your muscles convulse with deep emotion, your breath shakes. You wail. Your chest tightens, you can’t breathe. In the depth of emotion, you act much the same; both may even involve tears. Once I though that people felt differently when they laughed from when they cried, they feel much the same to me now. Each is bleeding into the other.
Sincerely yours,
Bella C. Reynolds
